Campaign aims to teach kids rules to ‘Playin’ Safe’

The Salt Lake City Police Department held the "Playin' Safe" bike safety rodeo at Westpoint Park during a Night Out Against Crime event Tuesday. The event was to help parents and kids learn more about bike safety and to practice road safety skills. Kids who were seen “Playin’ Safe” at the park were given a citation — a Subway loyalty card loaded with enough points for a 6-inch sandwich.
