Utah Valley University Athletics and Adidas have agreed to renew their footwear, apparel and accessory partnership through 2019, extending by five years the original five-year agreement between Adidas and the Wolverines signed in 2009.

"We have been extremely pleased with our partnership with adidas," Utah Valley Director of Athletics Vince Otoupal said. "The loyalty of the brand is unmatched. They have continually delivered on their promises of quality and service and we look forward to another five years of success alongside adidas."

The extension continues Adidas' run as the exclusive outfitter of UVU's 16 NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic programs. The deal also includes the Utah Valley cheer team, spirit squad and pep band, while extending campus-wide to include several other on-campus entities. The Wolverines have experienced tremendous success and growth since teaming up with the three-stripes in 2009:

"We're excited to continue helping the Wolverines perform better by delivering our latest and most innovative footwear, apparel and uniforms to all of Utah Valley University's men's and women's sports programs for the next five years," said Mark Daniels, director of team sports for Adidas America.

Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations Dr. Jared Sumsion said he really appreciates how great of a partner Adidas has been with UVU.

"We are proud to be amongst the select NCAA Division I universities who are in the Adidas family," Sumsion said. "Adidas has been a loyal corporate partner for the past five years and we would like to thank them for their commitment to Wolverine Athletics and to an unmatched customer service."

UVU fans will continue to be able to purchase a wide range of Adidas products, including sideline gear, polos, shirts, hats, jackets and outerwear at on site retail outlets at Wolverine events as well as online.
