The Missionary Training Center's foreign language teaching methods are widely known for being successful, so NPR recently paid a visit to its headquarters in Provo, Utah, to find out why.

In the midst of approximately 300 new missionaries, NPR reported the atmosphere of the MTC to be "like move-in day at college only the students are dressed in dark suits and modest skirts."

As NPR observed the young adults studying a foreign language, it reported their success to be obtained through the practice of role-playing, while the missionaries attributed their feat to the Spirit.
