Teenagers are flexible. Not only are they able to twist and turn and get launched in the air, but even the non-cheerleaders are well adapted to deal with change. There were ups and downs throughout the game for both teams, and the teenagers on the floor and in the stands just rolled with it. I was impressed.

I took a trip to the floor of the 5A Boys State Basketball final between defending champion Lone Peak and the school 3 miles south, Pleasant Grove. Here's what 10,000 screaming teenagers taught me about my own teenage daughters.
