Granite School District honors administrators

SOUTH SALT LAKE — The Granite Association of School Administrators recognized four Granite School District leaders with Administrators of the Year awards

The awards are given out each year to administrators who are recognized for having made a positive impact on the district and, most importantly, its students. Each recipient was nominated by his or her co-workers.

Assistant Principal of the Year went to Shauna States at Valley Junior High School; Elementary Principal of the Year to Natalie Hansen of Hunter and Monroe elementary schools; Secondary Principal of the Year to Terri Van Winkle, Brockbank Junior High School; and District Administrator of the Year to David Gourley, assistant superintendent of Support Services.
