Arts Day marked at state Capitol

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Arts Council Board of Directors, the Utah Cultural Alliance, and Friends of Art Works for Kids! presented the third annual Arts Day on the Hill in the Capitol rotunda on Tuesday.

The arts groups are encouraging students to showcase their talents to help lawmakers see why the arts are important.

Musical performances, visual arts and other exhibitions were on display at the Capitol.
