What did Einstein say about prayer?

Einstein answered a sixth-grader's letter about prayer, which revealed some details about the relationship between science and religion, The Huffington Post reported.

Einstein might not have unveiled his feelings on religion, but he did answer a sixth-grader’s question about prayer in a letter, according to The Huffington Post. The letter was sent Jan. 24, 1936, as a response by Einstein to a Sunday school class who wanted to know if scientists prayed.

He said even though scientists believe in the laws of nature, “we must concede that our actual knowledge of these forces is imperfect, so that in the end the belief in the existence of a final, ultimate spirit rests on a kind of faith. Such belief remains widespread even with the current achievements in science.”
