PROVO – The No. 21 BYU women’s volleyball team will travel to No. 9 San Diego on Saturday for the final conference match of the season.

The Cougars (22-5, 15-2 West Coast Conference) swept Gonzaga and Portland at home last week. BYU finished out the regular season with a perfect 11-0 home record. The Cougars extended their home winning streak to 26 straight, good for fourth all-time in the Smith Fieldhouse.

San Diego (23-3, 15-2 WCC) and BYU will face off at 1 p.m. PST. The Cougars swept the Toreros in both teams’ first WCC matchup of the season. San Diego was ranked No. 2 nationally at the time. The Toreros hold the advantage in the overall series, 4-3.

BYU and San Diego are currently tied for first place in the WCC. In a winner-takes-all scenario, the Cougars must win Saturday to secure a second consecutive conference championship.

The match will be live streamed on TheW.tv. Links to live stats can be found on the BYU women’s volleyball schedule page.
