BYU-Hawaii soccer: Orem's Michael Moreno, Salt Lake's Chris Toronto earn PacWest Final 5

PHOENIX — BYU-Hawaii men's soccer players and Utah products Michael Moreno and Chris Toronto earned Final 5 honors from the Pacific West Conference.

The conference announced the honor on Monday, Oct. 28, for matches contested Oct. 21-27.

Moreno, out of Orem and a transfer from BYU in Provo, scored two goals and totaled four points in a 5-0 win vs. Chaminade on Oct. 23. He tallied the game-winner early on in just the sixth minute and then made the game 2-0 at the 23:50 mark.

Toronto, from Salt Lake City, also scored two goals and totaled four points in the win vs. Chaminade. He recorded his first goal on a penalty kick at 85:54 to push the Seasider advantage to 4-0. In the closing seconds he registered an unassisted goal at 89:28 for a 5-0 win.

BYU-Hawaii men's soccer has won five consecutive matches.
