Studio C hosts free Halloween event

To celebrate the release of its new DVD, the cast of Studio C is hosting a free event at the SCERA Center for the Arts Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m.

To celebrate the release of its new DVD, the cast of Studio C is hosting a free event at the SCERA Center for the Arts on Thursday, Oct. 24. The doors open at 6 p.m.

The DVD features seasons one and two of Studio C's BYUtv sketch comedy series. Popular episodes include "Presidential Shoulder Angel," "Facebook Friends Song," "Flirting Academy," "Captain Literally" and "The Center for People that YouTube Made Infamous." The DVD also includes exclusive features, sketches and outtakes.

Cast members will conduct a question-and-answer session with the audience and discuss their favorite Studio C moments. They'll also share behind-the-scenes information about the creative process behind the production. Those who attend will also be treated to a sneak peek of an upcoming Halloween sketch from season three.

With Halloween looming, guests are invited to dress up as their favorite Studio C characters.

The SCERA Center for the Arts is located at 745 S. State Street in Orem.
