BYU-Hawaii cross-country: Davis High alum Kami Dixon earns PacWest award

PHOENIX – Former Davis High alumni and BYU-Hawaii cross-country runner Kami Dixon was selected as one of the Pacific West Conference's Final 5 honorees Tuesday.

Dixon, a freshman from Kaysville, finished in fifth place overall among Division II and III in the 5K race in 20:01 at the Big Wave Invitational, hosted by the University of Hawaii on Sept. 15. Dixon and her teammates helped the Seasiders to a second-place finish.

The Seasiders' frosh runner has finished in the top-10 of each of the first three races and has been one of BYU-Hawaii's top two finishers each race.
