WEST VALLEY CITY — Children put their drawing skills to work submitting designs for a new playground to be built at a local community center.

Byde-A-Wyle Haciendas Community Center and Humana Inc. are teaming up with organizers from KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit organization that has built more than 2,300 playgrounds, that will be building a multigenerational playground using input from the residents and kids.
