Kids submit designs for new West Valley playground

Kids draw their favorite playground ideas at the Byde-A-Wyle Haciendas Community Center in West Valley City on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, to submit to Byde-A-Wyle Haciendas and Humana Inc., which are teaming up with organizers from KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit organization that has built more than 2,300 playgrounds, that will be building a multigenerational playground using input from the residents and kids. The playground will be built at the community center on Saturday, Oct. 26, in six hours.

WEST VALLEY CITY — Children put their drawing skills to work submitting designs for a new playground to be built at a local community center.
