The Gallivan Center in downtown Salt Lake City was filled with folk dancing, food and art Saturday for the Hispanic Fiesta Day Festival, an event designed to bring together Utah's Latin American communities. The fiesta featured a Miss Chiquitita Utah Contest with girls between 5 and 12 years old competing for the title by using their charm, personality and talents. Crowds also participated in piƱata breaking, face painting, basketball hoop contests and other activities.
