Sports Illustrated college football draft features Kyle Van Noy, Chuckie Keeton

Sports Illustrated recently published a mock college football redistribution draft. The universities, which are ordered based on the previous season's final ranking from last to first, get to 'choose' any college football player who is NCAA eligible in the hyporthetical draft.

As author Andy Staples notes, the difference between college and professional football is illustrated through the mock draft. Where as long term durability of running backs is an issue in the NFL, college football programs will only have a back for four years at most, making them more valuable in the mock draft.

Kyle Van Noy and Cody Hoffman from BYU and Chuckie Keeton and Tyler Larsen from Utah State, were the only players from Utah colleges to be chosen in the draft.
