Box Elder women killed in I-15 accident in Tremonton

TREMONTON, Box Elder County — A 57-year-old Brigham City woman is dead after attempting to turn on an emergency turn-through on I-15 Saturday night.

Faymarie Eames was traveling north on I-15 at 8:47 p.m. when she attempted to turn left across I-15 from the outside lane on the emergency turn-through, Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Steven Winward said.

Eames' Buick was hit by a Ford F-150 while she was crossing the inside lane. Eames was extricated from the car and later pronounced dead at Bear River Valley Hospital. The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries.
