The Aggies boys’ 6th grade basketball team has made it official; they are a dynasty.

The team won its third straight upper division state AAU basketball title in March, which is the team’s fifth title in six years. The team also won its fourth consecutive Utah AAU Holiday Tournament in December and has not lost an in-state game in its age group in three years.

In the championship game on March 23 at West Jordan High School, the Aggies, made up of boys that will go to Sky View, Mtn. Crest and Bear River, beat UC X Factor of Utah County 62-41. Rylan Jones paced the team with 13 points. Spencer Panter and Tyson Madson added 10 each and Carter Berish chipped in eight.

In the semifinal game on March 20th, their closest win of the tournament, they beat Utah Pump-N-Run, a Salt Lake all-star team, 62-51. Their average margin of victory on the way to the state championship was 27 points.

The Aggies just returned from the prestigious Big Foot tournament in Las Vegas over the Easter break where they made the final four.

Chris Jones and Chet Jeppson coach the team.
