Utah State softball looks to rebound this week as it takes on border foe Idaho State on Wednesday, April 3. Action is set to get under way at 4 p.m. MT and will be streamed online, as well as a radio broadcast.

It will be the third of four scheduled meetings between the Aggies and Bengals this season, as the teams met twice on March 16 and March 17 in the SpringHill Suites Invitational hosted by Boise State. Utah State captured the first meeting against Idaho State, 3-2. ISU responded in the second matchup by defeating Utah State, 9-0, in five innings.

Utah State will be led by sophomore outfielder Hailey Froton and infielder Nicole Arata, who are both swinging hot bats in recent games. Froton has put together a team-leading .444 batting average in six conference games, while Arata is not far behind producing a .313 batting average in recent Western Athletic Conference action.

Following Wednesday's action, USU will turn its attention back to WAC play as it is set to host UTSA in a three-game weekend series getting under way Friday, April 5, with a doubleheader.
