OGDEN — Weber State accepted an invitation to play in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament Sunday.

The Wildcats (26-6) will host Cal Poly Wednesday at the Dee Events Center at 7 p.m. The Mustangs (18-13) finished third in the Big West Conference and after starting the season 9-11, won nine of the next 10 games.

The tournament consists of 32 teams with games played on campus sites. Weber State fell in the second round of the CIT last season, losing 84-78 to Loyola Marymount in overtime.

Mercer defeated Utah State in last season’s CIT championship.
