Summary

If you consider Ziggy Ansah's performance at the NFL Combine and figure in many factors, including statements by those who know him best, he isn't through turning heads just yet.

  • Y football: Cougars out of comfort zone

  • Y football: Johnson and Kanuch look to replace Fuga

If a guy is a tough, but a mental midget with emotional issues, he’s probably going to mess up. Even guys who are pretty tough mentally can simply get frustrated or distracted and underperform. This is all by design.

None of that should happen at an on campus pro day.

In Indianapolis, Ziggy was sensational. But if you just take the discrepancy in his vertical alone, he should improve all his numbers if uninjured and prepared.

So, I’m just saying, whatever buzz is going around these days about Ansah, it is expected it will get a bump on March 28 when he posts a new set of numbers.

Will that make a difference in his draft status?

Maybe not, since all these so-called experts are already hyping him to the upper limits of what appears to be sanity.

None of those guys know anything. We need to know what ChrisB, Mildred, and other Ute Trolls have to say-then we will know for sure.

He cannot be that good. How many stars did he have coming out of HS.

How high Ziggy is drafted will depend on whether the team that drafts him is looking for instant help or for someone who could develop into an elite player in 2 or 3 years.
