Utah Jazz: Jazz suffer heavy loss to Los Angeles Clippers, 94-107

The Utah Jazz suffered a heavy loss on the road to the LA Clippers, 94-107, on Saturday night.

After a characteristically slow start, the Jazz fought hard to bring themselves back into the game by the end of the first quarter.

Paul Millsap carried the team for much of the first quarter, and he scored the first 13 points for the Jazz. At this point the Clippers were up by eight, but eventually other players started to find a rhythm, managing to bring it within two by the end of the first quarter.

The Clippers started the second quarter on a 9-2 run, but it was a more closely fought contest than the first, and the half ended with the Clippers holding the slight advantage, 49-51.

Once the second half got underway however, the Clippers made a 11-0 run, and never looked back.

The Jazz only made one three-point shot all night, from 15 attempts. And three of the five starters, Marvin Williams, Jamaal Tinsley, and Randy Foye, ended the game with no points.

Paul Millsap finished the game with 19 points, and Gordon Hayward had a game high 23 points coming off the bench.

This loss puts the Jazz at 31-25 for the season.
