BYU went in at halftime with a four point lead against St. Mary's, but couldn't finish the job down the stretch, falling 64-57.
The game was barely underway when BYU's Brock Zylstra and Mitchell Young of St. Mary's both picked up technical fouls. It set the tone for a closely contested first half.
Brandon Davies was the standout performer for BYU, with 25 points.

If one was to read the reaction of BYU fans to every loss you could only surmise the only reason they're not unbeaten year after year, maybe even never, ever lost a game was because of the official have it in for them.
