USU tennis: Utah State women's tennis to host in-state rival Weber State on Wednesday
Utah State women's tennis is scheduled to host Weber State on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Play is set to begin at 12 p.m. and will take place at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club in Logan. The Aggies are 1-2 this spring, while the Wildcats are 2-7.
The Aggies are led by sophomore McKenzie Davis and senior Jaci West. Davis is currently 3-0 at the No. 1 singles position, and West is 2-1 at the No. 2 singles spot. In doubles action, Davis and West team up for 1-1 record at the No. 1 doubles spot. Other players to watch include senior Kristina Voytsekhovich, who is currently sitting at 1-2 in singles action and 0-2 overall in doubles play.
USU will then hit the road traveling to Arizona on March 1-2. The Aggies will first head to Tempe, Ariz., where they will take on Arizona State on Friday, March 1. Play will begin at 1:30 p.m. (MT). Utah State will then travel to Tucson, Ariz., on Saturday, March 2, where it will take on Arizona. Play will begin at 10 a.m. (MT).
