There's a ton of intrigue heading into this year's 4A girls basketball state tournament, thanks in large part to a pair of 21-0 teams — Bonneville and Springville. The two perfect squads are on the same side side of the bracket, so if they do meet it would be in the semifinals Friday. There's a lot of basketball prior to that point, however, and no one can take anything for granted, especially the two favorites.
Along with Bonneville and Springville, teams like Region 6 champion Bountiful, Region 7 champion Skyline and other quality teams like Sky View, Cyprus, Timpview, Salem Hills and Maple Mountain are all hoping to make some noise this week at Salt Lake Community College.
