Pepperdine leads BYU 31-20 at the half

MALIBU, Calif. — Pepperdine's Nikolas Skouen has 13 points on five of six shooting as the Waves lead the BYU Cougars 31-20 at halftime.

BYU is shooting 31 percent from the field including a dismal 0 for 9 from beyond the arc.

Brandon Davies has 12 points and seven rebounds, but is one of only three cougars to put up any points so far. Tyler Haws has six points and Matt Carlino has two.

Pepperdine has forced eight BYU turnovers and has three blocks.
