SOUTH SALT LAKE — Three Granite School District teachers were recognized as Paraeducators of the Year at the Paraeducators Conference at Lincoln Elementary.
Jane Evans from Pioneer Elementary, Marla Sawaya from West Kearns Elementary and Amber Ruiz from Rolling Meadows Elementary were honored for their service to Granite District students.
“(Paraeducators) are truly some of the most important employees we have in the district,” said district Superintendent Martin Bates.
