"That's a prime example of keeping God first and reaching your goals," Jefferson added. "You keep him first and have that commitment to do whatever you want to do and be whoever you want to be, it can happen. It's an amazing story. He came a long way and he deserve all the success he's having."
So, could any of the Jazz players see anyone making movies about them?
"I don't know," said Millsap, whose agent considered such a project a couple of years ago. "I don't have a clue."
Jazz forward DeMarre Carroll said his documentary would be called "Junkyard Dog Days."
And Big Al? Maybe a cartoon to capture the humorous character?
He laughed at that suggestion, joking, "I'd probably be on 'Family Guy' Peter's half-brother."
