USU tennis: women's tennis travels to Provo to take on BYU on Saturday
Utah State women's tennis hits the road to Provo to take on instate rival BYU on Saturday, Jan. 26. Play is set to begin at 1 p.m.
The Aggies started out the season right when they took down Idaho State in a 7-0 win Jan. 19. USU won all six singles and two of its three doubles matches. Sophomore McKenzie Davis won, 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 1 spot, and with partner senior Jaci West, took out Idaho State's Wiebke Boeckmann and Svenja Teqtmeier, 8-1, in doubles. They will both be big leaders in the upcoming match against BYU. Other athletes to watch include seniors Julie Tukuafu and Kristina Voytsekhovich.
The Aggies' next match will be Feb. 8, when they take on Portland State at home. Play will begin at 12 p.m. and will take place at the Sports Academy and Racket Club in Logan.
