USU tennis: Men's team travels to Las Vegas for a pair of matches
Utah State men's tennis will travel to Las Vegas, Nev., on Friday, Jan. 25, to take on UNLV. USU will also compete in a dual match with Northern Arizona on Saturday. The Aggies have a current season record of 0-2 and are looking to improve this weekend. Play on Friday and Saturday will begin at 12 p.m. MT.
With a 1-1 singles record from the No. 1 spot and a 1-1 doubles record with sophomore partner Marcus Fritz, senior Sven Poslusny will lead the Aggies this weekend. Other athletes to watch will include sophomore Curran Wearmouth, who is currently 1-1 from the No. 6 spot, and junior Fredrik Peterson, who is 1-1 from the No. 3 spot.
The Aggies will next compete at home when they take on Weber State on Wednesday, Feb. 6. Play will begin at 12 p.m. and will take place at The Sports Academy and Racket Club in Logan.
