Jazz forward Paul Milsap banked in a short jump shot to give the jazz a cushy six-point lead with 21 seconds remaining.

Well, not as cushy as their first-half lead of 22 points that dwindled in a cold Jazz fourth quarter. The Jazz watched the Washington Wizards quickly chip away one point at a time, or more often three points at a time, while shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc.

Despite allowing the Wizards back into the game, Utah pulled off a 92-88 win at EnergySolutions Arena Wednesday evening.

The Jazz shot 44 percent from the field, led by Paul Millsap with 16 points and Gordon Hayward with 15 points.

Washington finished with a 26-18 advantage in transition baskets. This was in large part due to crafty guard John Wall finding streaking Wizards and racking up eight assists.
