Utah jumped out to a 12-4 lead over Washington in the first five minutes of the game, and held on to lead the Huskies 33-25 at halftime.
The Utes are shooting 58 percent from the field while Washington is at just 35 percent.
Washington outrebounded Utah in the first half 16-8, and that is a a large part of what is keeping the score within reach.
Utah center Jason Washburn is leading his team in scoring with 14 first-half points.
C.J. Wilcox — Utah native playing for Washington — is yet to score in the contest, despite averaging more than 19 points a game.

Do they have towels for the floor at Alaska Airlines? I don't know how many more times I can stand seeing an easy fast break score halted by a player's feet go sliding across the court.
