USU tennis: Men's team takes on Idaho State in second match of the season Thursday
Utah State men's tennis travels to Pocatello on Thursday, Jan. 17, to take on the Idaho State Bengals. Play begins at 1 p.m. The Aggies are currently 0-1 for the season after a tough loss to BYU on Saturday.
The team will be led by senior Sven Poslusny and sophomore Marcus Fritz, who were the only Aggies to win a match last weekend, defeating Spencer Smith and Travis Flimore of BYU in the No. 1 doubles position. Also competing for the Aggies will be juniors Brandon Neilsen and Fredrik Peterson, as well as sophomores Matt Sweet, Sean Lovesque and Curran Wearmouth.
Utah State's next match will be Jan. 25, when it travels to Las Vegas to take on the UNLV Rebels. Play will begin at 12 p.m. The first home match for the Aggies will be February 6, when they take on Weber State.
