Center Al Jefferson scored 14 of his 26 points in the third quarter to lead the Utah Jazz to a 112-102 road victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night.
Eight Jazz players scored at least nine points as the Jazz led by double digits for the entire second half. The Jazz shot 54 percent from the field and went 10 for 22 on 3-pointers.
The Bobcats drew to within 11 points midway through the fourth quarter after Bobcats guard Ben Gordon made a 3-pointer, but the Jazz answered with an 11-2 run to put the game out of reach.
Paul Millsap added 19 points, five rebounds, five assists and three blocks for the Jazz. Gordon led the Bobcats with 20 points.
