SALT LAKE CITY — A Midvale man was charged Friday with making threats of terrorism after he allegedly threatened that he would "kill cops" and "go into schools and do the same thing."
Kevin Frayer, 44, was arrested during a domestic dispute on Dec. 27. Residents at the home, near 350 W. Wasatch St., said Frayer had become belligerent and started throwing things around, according to charges filed in 3rd District Court. Frayer had also allegedly threatened to use a knife on other residents at the home.
Charges state that as police were transporting Frayer to the jail to complete an arrest, Frayer started making comments that he wanted to kill police officers.
"When I get out of jail, I'm going to get my gun, set you cops up and kill a few of you," Frayer said, according to the charges. "I will kill you and all your Midvale cops. I will even go into schools and do the same thing."
Prosecutors say Frayer continued to be belligerent toward officers, attempting to harm them.
He was charged with making a threat of terrorism, a second-degree felony; and three counts of assault, one a third-degree felony and two class B misdemeanors.

Assuming the facts are as stated, this guy should be (a) involuntarily committed to a mental hospital, (b) lose gun rights forever, (c) prosecuted to the full extent of the law for each and every criminal act listed, and (d) put away in jail for a More..
It would be very interesting to learn if this guy actually has any guns at home. If he does, we need to know if he had them "legally." And if they are "legal" will they be confiscated and will he lose his "right" to possess More..
