LINDON, Utah County — An RV was destroyed and a trailer and boat damaged after a fire broke out at the Lindon Boat Harbor on Utah Lake early Saturday.
The fire was reported around 6:45 a.m. and responders arrived to find the RV engulfed in flames and the fire spreading to nearby vehicles, Utah County dispatchers reported. Firefighters were able to put the fire out, but a boat and trailer parked near the RV were also damaged.
The owner of the RV was inside when the fire broke out, but was able to escape uninjured.
Firefighters believe the fire was sparked by a heater inside the RV that malfunctioned, dispatchers said.
