He found the experience "awesome" and is disappointed to hear that the center won't be offering the space camps and overnight adventures he's been planning to attend.
"I'm kind of upset about it," Morrey said. "I really liked the cool technology."
"A lot of kids are broken-hearted right now," Williamson said, "but they are really excited to be getting at least the three ships back and maybe more.
"We're not in crisis mode yet."
The committee will present its recommendation to the Alpine School District Board of Education at its first meeting in February.
