DRAPER — Canyons School District celebrated a milestone in the construction of Corner Canyon High School Wednesday as crews lowered a dome onto the roof.
The dome was created in Tremonton and designed to resemble the Round House, which was used as a community gathering space by early Draper settlers.

....and THIS is why we have such fancy schools, and uneducated students. Utah spends more money giving contracts to developers to build the schools, than they do on sheer education. A DOME for a school? What is it, the Papacy?

PLease tell me this was paid for by donation. I would hope that tax dollars were not used to build some fancy entrance when there are schools that do not even have air conditioning and the like.
Is there a sale on domes? I never saw the coupon. Everyone wants a dome now you'd think we were in the middle ages or the middle east.
Someone please explain the dome phenomenon.
