AMERICAN FORK — An American Fork High School alumna recently won a national farming award.
Katelyn Scott was the national winner in Small Animal Production and Care at the 85th annual Future Farmers of America competition. She is a member of the FFA chapter at American Fork High School, although she has graduated from the school.
Scott grooms and handles Australian Shepherds. Since 2008, she has bred seven dogs that have won national titles. Today, she has 30 grooming clients in a business she runs. Scott plans to continue her breeding operation throughout college.
