As the final rehearsal for the regular season, the Utah State women's basketball team will be hosting its Blue and White Scrimmage on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m.

Under the leadership of new head coach Jerry Finkbeiner, Utah State is heading into the final season in the Western Athletic Conference. The Aggies return seven players from last season, including starter senior guards Devyn Christensen and Jenna Johnson, as well as sophomore guard Elise Nelson.

The Aggies opened preseason action with a win over New Mexico Highlands. The Aggies defeated the Cowgirls 81-72 last Friday in exhibition play.

Utah State was picked to win the WAC by both the coaches and the media in preseason polls. Additionally, Christensen was selected as the preseason Player of the Year.

Following Thursday's scrimmage, Utah State will open the regular season as they take on the Wolverines of Utah Valley University in Orem on Monday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed online.

Tickets are available through USU's website or by calling the ticket office toll at 1-888-USTATE-1 or (435) 797-0305.
