BYU football: Offensive coordinator Brandon Doman battling through another turbulent season
"I think coach Weber has done an outstanding job. He's had a tough job this year. Culturally, he's been working on that group a lot starting in January, getting them in the shape he wanted them in, and getting them to play the way we want them to play as a group and as a football program. It's been quite a work in progress."
Acknowledging the offensive struggles this season, Doman is pleased with the work of the assistant coaches overall.
"I love the guys and I think they've done a great job. I'm not happy with the collective group, but I'm happy with who the men are," he said. "I haven't had any reason to believe that someone else isn't. But that's not my call, and that's not my decision. And I don't worry about that. I have plenty of other things on my plate to worry about than those types of decisions. If someone else makes those, that's their decision."

RE: BigLebowski
"First, penalties. That is on the coaches, and you cannot win games with 7,8,9 penalties a game. Penalties are a sign that the team is not coached well."
I thought that was a bold claim so I did some More..
Note to Doman: the offense struggles because of the poor choice to give Riley a scholarship to the Y and then to play him over far better qualified QB's. But you can't coach a passing QB because you never could throw a forward pass More..
Doman is NOT a Div 1 offensive coordinator. His decision to call plays from the sidelines is ridiculous. He should be let go and should consider going to a junior college or a div 2 college for at least 5 years to gain a better understanding of this More..
