SAN FRANCISCO — The Utah Utes were picked a distant last in the Pac-12 preseason media poll — the same position they held a year ago.
Arizona is the preseason favorite, finishing just ahead of UCLA. The Bruins, however, did garner most first-place votes (16-15).
California, Stanford and Washington round out the top five. They are followed in order by Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, USC, Washington State, Arizona State and Utah. The Utes had 78 points in the poll, which featured votes from 36 members of the media. ASU, the 11th-place finisher, had 107.
Utah is represented at Pac-12 Media Day by head coach Larry Krystkowiak and senior center Jason Washburn.

ChrisB was probably referring conference finish, but 7 or 8 wins is probably more accurate. Lone Peak HS could win 7 or 8 games versus Utah's OOC schedule.
I heard that the Utes already lost their super-secret, More..
