Nice idea, but expensive.
Don't make us taxpayers foot the bill. Instead, impose a "movie star surcharge" on every conviction of $25, $50 or $100 and let the crooks pay for their crimes being recorded.
Not a bad idea. A problem I could see, is when hackers break into the network and can view where the officers are located, what they are doing and then repost private information to the public. How will these records be stored? Are they private or More..
Maybe the police department could start a program of installing cameras on residential properties that agree to it, to help catch burglars etc. Maybe then SLC police will attempt to investigate one of these crimes. Or have cameras overlooking cars, More..
