USU basketball: Aggie men hosting "Opening Night" on Friday against Grand Canyon

Utah State athletics is offering a special $5 ticket for the Utah State men's basketball "Opening Night" on Friday, Oct. 26, when the Aggies take on Grand Canyon in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

The USU men's and women's basketball 2012-13 schedule posters and USU Athletics winter schedule cards will be available for fans, and following the game, the Aggie men will be signing autographs for the fans.

All tickets are $5 and Jr Aggies are free with a paid adult.

If fans happen to not be able to make it to Friday's game, they can follow the action on the radio, broadcast on KVNU (610 AM/102.1 FM) and KLZX (95.9 FM) in Logan; KZNS (97.5 FM) in Salt Lake City; KZNU (1450 AM) in St. George; KVEL (920 AM) in Vernal; KRPX (95.3 FM) in Price; and KLZX (105.3 FM) in Montpelier, Idaho, as well as on the USU website.

In addition to season tickets being on sale, the Utah State Athletics Ticket Office has five different ticket packages for fans that want to watch men's basketball games this season but are unable to attend every game. Fans can choose from a West Coast Package, Saturday Package, Aggie Football/Basketball Doubleheader Package, Gossner Tournament Package and a Western Athletic Conference Package.

To order a package or for more information, fans can contact the USU Athletics Ticket Office over the phone by calling 1-888-USTATE-1 or 435-797-0305 during regular hours of operation. Fans can also buy their tickets in person at the USU Ticket Office inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum or online by clicking on the "Buy Tickets" tab on the USU website.

USU will host Simon Fraser in an exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. before kicking off the regular-season schedule by hosting Idaho State on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. USU opens the season with four-straight home games at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
