BYU's next opponent, Notre Dame is ranked No. 5 in both polls and No. 5 in the BCS standings released Sunday.

Fighting Irish coach Brian Kelly is hoping his team can handle the lofty rankings.

Oregon State coach Mike Riley is calling last Saturday's victory over BYU "a great win."

The Beavers had plenty of excuses lined up for losing to BYU, but they didn't need them.

"The Beavers shrugged off the ready-made excuses like so many blitzing BYU linebackers in a game in which they never trailed," writes Ken Goe of The Oregonian. "Maybe it’s time to retire the Cinderella tag for good. Oregon State is 5-0 and the No. 10 ranking is beginning to look legit."
