HELENA, Mont. – The 20th-ranked Westminster College women’s soccer team had its five-game winning streak snapped with a 3-2 loss at No. 22 Carroll on Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, Westminster is now 9-2 overall this season and are 1-1 in Frontier Conference games. Carroll improves to 9-0-1 and 2-0 with the win.
Carissa Cooper and Nicole Carter scored the two goals in the game for the Griffins. Westminster attempted 10 shots in the game and put seven on goal. Dayna Winter-Nolte suffered the loss in goal despite making nine saves.
Westminster will be back in action on Friday when it hosts Cal State San Marcos to Dumke Field. The game will begin at noon.
