Utah State senior men's tennis player Sven Poslusny concluded action at the prestigious Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's All-American Pre-Qualifying Championship in Tulsa at Case Tennis Center Sunday with a win.

The senior earned a straight set victory (6-3, 6-1) over Purdue's Arthur Dobradin in the bonus match section of the pre-qualifying draw. In the opening round Saturday, Poslusny lost in straight sets to Eastern Washington's Joseph Cohen (7-6 {7}, 6-2).

This was the eighth-straight year the University of Tulsa is the site of the ITA Men's All-American Championships. The tournament kicked off with pre-qualifying matches starting on Saturday, while the main draw is set to begin on Oct. 4. Some of the nation's best are taking part in the tournament.

The Aggies senior was one of four Western Athletic Conference players to take part in the pre-qualifying Championship. Luis Fernando Ramirez, Marc Westgate and Daniel Fernandez from New Mexico State are also taking part. Denver's Enej Bonin has already earned a spot in the main draw.

The Aggies are next set to compete in at the Utah Intercollegiates in Salt Lake City on October 11-13.
