DUI checkpoint to be held in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE — Officers from the Unified Police Department will be conducting a DUI checkpoint on Oct. 12 starting about 9:30 p.m.

The enforcement effort will run until the early morning hours of Oct. 13. It will be at 5400 South and 2600 West. Officers will be looking for impaired drivers and anyone with an outstanding warrant as well as checking for valid licenses and registrations.
