WEST VALLEY CITY — Police were releasing few details Friday regarding an early morning shooting.
About 12:20 a.m, officers were called to a house near 3700 South and 6800 West, where they found a man in his 50s who had been shot multiple times, said West Valley Police Sgt. John Pearce. The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The man's wife was the one who called 911, and the incident was not believed to be gang related, Pearce said.
Police had not released any other information as of Friday afternoon, including the name of the victim, how many people were in the house at the time of the shooting or how everyone in the house knew each other.
No one had been arrested as of 12:30 p.m. Friday.
