Blue roundup: Much on line for Washington State in season-opener vs. BYU

BYU and Washington State square off in the season opener on Aug. 30.

First-year WSU coach Mike Leach has generated plenty of excitement in Pullman.

Cbssports.com offers a preview of Washington State's upcoming season. "The season opener at BYU will be a telling game for Washington State. If the Cougars can win a nationally televised game on the road, there's a good chance they'll be 4-0 when they play host to Oregon in Seattle on Sept. 29," writes John Breech.

WSU is wrapping up fall camp, and Leach was happy with the way his team bounced back from a sloppy practice on Sunday.

The Indianapolis Colts have confirmed that former BYU receiver Austin Collie sustained a concussion Sunday.

"Collie’s case is worrisome because he suffered at least two concussions, and possibly a third, during the 2010 season," writes Phil Richards of the Indianapolis Star.
