SALT LAKE CITY — Detectives were looking Monday for a suspected bank robber.
Just before 10:30 a.m., a man walked into Zions Bank, 910 W. 2100 South, approached a teller, insinuated he had a gun and demanded money, said Salt Lake police detective Mike Hamideh.
Investigators were looking for a Hispanic man, between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with very short, dark hair. He was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt, black shorts and gym shoes. Police say the man had tattoos on his neck and lower leg.
Anyone with information on the robbery can call police at 801-799-3000.
