SALT LAKE CITY — Employees at U.S. Bank took time off from work to volunteer in a NeighborWorks Salt Lake project Friday.
The 16 employees gave Ross. L. Andra's home in Salt Lake City a new coat of paint.
Paint Your Heart Out, now in its 25th year, is NeighborWorks Salt Lake's annual premier volunteer event. Every August, hundreds of volunteers paint the homes of senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.
The exterior facelift helps preserve and beautify homes and contributes to community restoration and homeowner pride.
Paint Your Heart Out has painted 715 homes at no cost to eligible homeowners since 1985.
